RE WIRE THE TOYZ
Circuit bending is the creative, chance-based customization of the circuits within electronic devices such as low voltage, battery-powered guitar effects, children’s toys and digital synthesizers to create new musical or visual instruments and sound generators.

Emphasizing spontaneity and randomness, the techniques of circuit bending have been commonly associated with noise music.

Currently organizing workshops and performances with Gamepak artists Zyme and Siam Collective.
Here is a sound byte from our workshop at Phase One festival in Carrick on Shannon in 2012.
Featuring improvised Live circuit bending performance with rewired toys played by children who attended the festival.

For Knockanstockan independent music festival 2012 and 2013, Gamepak was involved with 4theye in The Circuit Hut area, where participants are invited to get to know their inner child, and just make some noise with these transformed instrument.
